Who We Are

The Paul Revere Memorial Association was formed by Revere descendants and locals in 1907 to save and restore the Paul Revere House. The museum has grown to include the Hichborn House c. 1711, and our Visitor Center, housed in an 1835 home. Thirteen million people have visited since the historic house opened to the public in 1908. An AAM-accredited museum, our mission – to inspire a deeper appreciation for the relevance of American history by sharing the life, legacy, craftsmanship, and iconic home of artisan, businessman, patriot, and citizen Paul Revere – is achieved by sharing exceptional experiences such as house tours, lectures, walking tours, school, camp and after-school programs, teacher workshops, research, publications, internships, exhibits, living history, concerts, and colonial crafts.

We have a deep commitment to and a long tradition of offering free or low-cost educational programs and providing resources for teachers’ continued learning and classroom use.

We encourage you to explore this site and our main website, and reach out if you have any questions! We also offer programming for students on-site, at your school, and virtually. Please see our education page for further details on the programs offered.
